Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School 2018

Since 2002, the Chinese Studies Center in cooperation with Eurasia-Pacific Uninet, has annually organized the Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School for students from Chinese member institutions.

The summer school is designed for Chinese students who want to deepen their knowledge of Europe in general and of Austria in particular. During their stay students have the great opportunity to visit Austria (Salzburg, Vienna and Wolfgangsee) as well as European cities like, Munich, Heidelberg, Paris, Strassbourg, Venice, Verona and many more.

Lectures are given by experts at the European Court of Human Right in Strassbourg, as well as at Austrian Foreign Ministry. Furthermore, the students will take courses at the University of Vienna, at the University of Heidelberg, at the University of Venice, the Paris Descartes University  and at the University of Salzburg aiming to broaden their view of the European culture and customs.

Participants get information about Austrian history, literature, politics and law as well as economy and music. This range of courses as well as visits at the United Nations, the Musikverein Vienna or at Schloss Schoenbrunn and Schloss Hellbrunn guarantee many insights as well as a great experience.
